Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Eleanor Zuercher. She graduated from Concordia High School and Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1952. She worked as a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital for 40 years prior to her retirement in 1992. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church. Lois and her husband enjoyed traveling around the world together and spending time at their lake cottage on Snow Lake. Lois also enjoyed crafts, theatre, bridge, and spending time with her family. Her unwavering Faith in the Lord, Family, and Friends were her top priorities in life. Surviving are her children, Mark (Theresa) Arnold of Lakewood, Colo., Jack (Norene) Arnold of Fort Wayne, Jill (Robert Ahern) Arnold of Baltimore, Md., Nancy (Michael) Jordan of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Damara (Michael) Major, Ian Arnold, Nicholas Arnold MD, Lauren Arnold, Rebecca Jordan; and great-granddaughter, Eleanor Arnold. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arnold; and brother, Donald Zuercher. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at D.O.
